Programs for Foreigners

The specialized program offers a chance for foreigners in Korea to try playing Korea’s Gugak instruments, help them understand traditional Korean culture, and enjoy a leisurely weekend. After the 11-week course in which they train with Gugak instruments, they will get to perform at National Gugak Center’s theater on the 12th week.

Classes are open twice a year in the first and latter half of the year, and they are taught in both English and Korean. All instruments needed during the classes are provided by the National Gugak Center.
