Folk Music Group

The Folk Music Group is performing in various fields of folk music, including pansori, which has been designated as a UNESCO intangible heritage, as well as in the fields of mountaineering, folk singing, Byeongchang and Samulnori, and is doing its best to convey the essence of Korean folk music as a work that encompasses the genres of sound play and good music. It is also making steady efforts to promote the outstanding artistry of our folk music, which penetrates into the present and future, before audiences around the world beyond the country.

Folk Music Group will perform not only traditional music, but also traditional music, through the < Folk Music Concert (1981-1996)> and <Mass Music Contest (1997-2004)> The newly constructed pieces and been.
